In recent years, i.e. around 700 years back, Meri Maiya revealed HERSELF in the form of a small girl, to Pandit Shridharji at this place "Bhoomika Mandir" approximately 2 kms from Katra at a village called Hansali on Panthal Road .....where Pandit Shridharji stayed. The term "Bhoomika" means an introduction, as in a book; prelude to the Katha of Meri Maiya Vaishnodevi. Thus one may say, "Bhoomika Mandir" is the beginning of this Great Katha of Meri Maiya Vaishnodevi, in the present era.

At this place, Meri Maiya gave HER divine Darshan to Pandit Shridharji and asked him to arrange "Bhandara" - a collective lunch. Everyone present at this Great Meri Maiya Bhandara, got the food of their choice, served by Meri Maiya HERSELF from HER vessel (Kammandalu).

From here, Meri Maiya proceeded towards Trikuta parvat, in a subtle form of "Air", when Bhairavnath tried to catch hold of Meri Maiya Hand in the Great Meri Maiya Bhandara and chased HER .....
